The book describes the personal story of the author where he was born and raised in a village in Eritrea. Eritrea is an independently country since 1991 located in Horn of Africa. Eritrea occupies a 800 kilometers of the western coast of the Red Sea. Its boundaries are Ethiopia in the South, Sudan on the west. Life in Adengoda as I was growing up was and is like that of Mediavial life in France or England. He equates his first 3o years of his life as equivalent to a thousand years of life from his Medivial village life in 20th century life. The author tells many interesting stories and experiences in his village and later in France and United States of his first 30 years of his life.
